BUFFdiss is an artist best-known for his street art which — contrary to the spray-canned graffiti usually associated with the aforementioned term — is created with masking tape.  Although he recognizes and appreciates the beauty of traditional graffiti art, he also takes pride in the permanent yet non-damaging medium he now prefers. 

Not only does he take into careful consideration the type of material he uses, but also the canvas and environment on which he works.  He exercises his imagination by trying to create a link between his art and the surroundings, so that the tape becomes more than just an image on a wall: it also interacts with nearby modes of transport, the shape of a room, or even a recent fire. 

“…it’s really sort of about a conversation with the architecture: A scaffold becomes a ladder, a rooftop becomes a canvas, a broken chair can sort of be weaved into a piece on a wall.”
